COVID-19 Statement

Dear Foundation Friends,

The Trustees and staff of the Woodruff Foundation recognize that the spread of COVID-19 is significantly disrupting not only our personal day-to-day lives, but, in many cases, the programming that is core to your organization’s mission and so vitally needed by our community. The Foundation’s staff is now working remotely, and our grantmaking cycles and work will continue. For those of you with current grants, we want to support you in your efforts by offering you flexibility at this time; we know that this is a rapidly evolving situation, and it may prevent your organization from meeting planned goals and objectives. You need not be concerned about programmatic progress that may be negatively impacted by this crisis.

In addition, for the remainder of 2020, the Woodruff Foundation will consider requests for general operating support from Woodruff grantees whose core mission addresses the Foundation’s interest in behavioral health. We are also working with other funders in our community to identify ways we can support the nonprofit sector to address the unanticipated needs of this crisis.

Should you have any pressing questions or concerns regarding your grant, please email your Foundation Management Services office contact. Otherwise, please know that we understand you are working hard to manage the significant challenges within your organizations.

Thank you for all that you do. Please stay safe and healthy.
